Facilities

Chadds Ridge has tennis courts and swimming facilities located on-site. We typically have an ALTA tennis team with members of our community. The swimming pool is open all Summer and into the beginning of Fall and the tennis courts are open year round.

We have two tennis courts and typically host our own ALTA team annually. We also have a wonderful pool area. We are looking into making even more modifications to this facility in the future, making this environment even more appealing than it already is. Revised 2006 Pool Rules and Regulations

Recreation HOA Members are encouraged to support and assist in enforcing the rules.

Please discuss these rules and safety regulations with your family members before using the pool.
Pool Hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Monday – Sunday)
Lifeguard Hours* Daily 11 AM to 5 PM
_ The lifeguard has complete authority. Those who do not obey the orders of the lifeguard will be barred from the pool area.
_ Standard Red Cross Safety Rules will be enforced
_ Children under 12 must be accompanied by and adult (18 or older). Children 12 and older must pass a swimming test to swim unaccompanied by and adult while the Lifeguard is on duty. The Lifeguard may also require anyone older than 12 to pass a swimming test if they think that person cannot swim.
_ ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN IF THE LIFEGUARD IS NOT ON DUTY.
_ The maximum number of guests a Chadds Ridge member can bring to the pool is 2. If that/those guests are under 18 years of age, a responsible adult must accompany them.
_ No Running or Pushing
_ People with communicable diseases (i.e., open sores or eye infections) will be prohibited from using the pool.
_ Proper bathing attire is required.
_ Non-potty trained children must wear rubber pants while in the pool.
_ No pets allowed in the pool area.
_ No glassware or alcohol is permitted in the pool area.
_ All guests must be accompanied by a recreational homeowners association (HOA) member. Residents of Chadds Ridge who are not recreational HOA members do not qualify as guests and are not permitted to use the facility.
_ No bicycles, tricycles, skates, skateboards, roller blades, etc. are permitted in the pool area.
_ No large floats are permitted during peak swimming hours.
_ No Styrofoam floats permitted.
_ Recreational HOA members are encouraged to support and assist in enforcing the rules.
_ The pool rules may be revised as necessary by the Chadds Ridge Homeowners Association Board.
_ Summer hours only (until Labor Day).
_ Please note: ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE FOLLOWING:
1. 1ST Offense – the family will be given a warning.
2. 2nd Offense – the family will receive a 30 day suspension.
3. 3rd Offense – the family will receive a 60 day suspension
